As you all may know, Jalen Green is probably the most talked about player right now when it comes to recruitment. Memphis was seen as the favorite early on, but Kentucky has had the most buzz in the recent months. Then all of a sudden, there are UCLA rumors; along with rumors that Jalen will skip college entirely to play professional overseas. So let’s dive right in:
The most buzz the past few days has been that Jalen Green and good buddy, Joshua Christopher, were seriously considering teaming up at UCLA. I quickly called a reliable source of mine, and he shot those rumors down right away and said they were started from someone within the program. That brings us to present time. What is going on with Jalen Green? A source within the Kentucky program has stated that they still feel Jalen to Kentucky is “a done deal.” I started talking with someone close to Jalen, and they said that he is very much sold on Kentucky right now, and it would take an amazing, jaw-dropping visit to change his mind. The pitch of him being in the spotlight and guaranteeing being the number one pick has stuck with Green ever since he first heard it. The only other competition would be Memphis, and they have stated that they feel like they have Green. Most of this buzz was from an assistant coach (who shall not be named) and he has told sources this information, hence why they are still favoring Memphis.
This recruitment could seem to “sway” within the next month or two with visits and other commitments to his final schools, but Kentucky seems to have broken out a little bit from the rest of the group. Who knows what could happen within the next few months. He could have an INSTANT change of heart (Thanks Jaden Mcdaniels). Right now, it seems that he will be in blue and white when he first steps foot on a college floor.
